INCOMPATIBLE FOODS IN AYURVEDA THAT CAN CAUSE DISEASE
All food possess their own Rasa (taste), Guna (characteristics), Virya (potency), and Vipaka (post digestion effect).The combining can produce indigestion, fermentation, putrefaction and gas formation and, if prolonged, can lead to toxemia, and diseases.If you eat bananas with milk can diminish digestive fire, change the intestinal flora, produce toxins ,allergy etc
Example of food combination that is harmful to health
Don't consume curd with fruit cheese, eggs, fish, hot drinks, meat, milk,curd should never be cooked and should be taken in night, summer, rains and spring season. It is a rule that curd should always be taken with sugar, soup of green beans, ghee and Amalaki powder.
Don't consume Milk with bananas, cherries, melons, sour fruits, bread containing yeast, fish, meat, curd
Don't consume Hot drinks with Mangoes, cheese, fish, meat, starch, curd
Don't consume Eggs with Fruits especially melons, Beans, cheese, fish, milk, meat, curd.
Don't consume Fruits with milk, curd
Don't consume Honey with With equal amount of ghee by weight, boiled, cooked honey
Don't consume Melon with Everything especially dairy products, eggs, fried food, grains, starch.
Don't consume Lemon with Cucumber, milk, tomato, curd
