Karkidaka kanji is prepared during the beginning of rainy season for years in kerala and it is prepared as a food in supper .This medicated rice soup is good for health.The preparation of this medicated rice soup is listed below.

Took 5 gram each of the medicines 1 to 21 numbers


1.Aniseed
2.Ayamodakam
3.Fenugreek
4.Aashali
5.Putharichundaveru
6.Varattumanjal
7.Mustard seeds
8.Chukku
9.Sathakuppa
10.Naruneendikizhangu
11.Karimjeerakam
12.Malli
13.Vizhalari
14.Chrupunnayari
15.Kutakapalayari
16.Karkokilari
17.Cumin seeds
18.Cardamom
19.Thakkolam
20.Grambu
21.Nutmeg

Boil the above ingredients 5 gm each with1 liter water and 100gm of rice,250ml Coconut Milk for 20 minutes.Clean  small onions 20 gm and fry it well in 2 teaspoon of ghee and mix the fried onion with medicated rice soup and kept it for 15 minutes and consme it in light hot at super and breakfast is very good for health.
