SOUL-MIND DIFFERENCE ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA

In Ayurveda soul is known as athma.Ayurveda says that human body is the carrier of soul and the soul never dies.The departure of our soul from the body is called death.In death the soul transmigrate from one body to another body based on its action during life time.The soul is a part of God and mind is a part of body according to Ayurvedic science.According to Ayurvedic phylosophy and science the nature will react if we move away from the right path and do sin because when we do sin we are moving away from god which is present in us as soul and the soul is a part of God("AHAM BRAHMASMI" meaning "I am a part of God and God is with in me"),the nature will react harsh by hard experience or hardship in life in order to bring soul to the ultimate omnipresence because we all comes from God and we have to go back to that supreme power and becomes a part of it.When we do sin we are moving away from God because of destruction of moral value's .According to Ayurvedic science a soul took a number of birth such as birds,tree,animals, worms,human being etc.. according to it's karma phala(reward of good or bad action) before it get Moksha(salvation) from cycle of birth.

IDENTITY OF THE PRESENCE OF SOUL

The qualityes of an individual soul that help us to realize its identity and presence in a human being.The soul is said to be an individual  observer and a part of God.

1."Daya" :- love for all creatures

2."Kshanti" :- Patience

3."Anasuya" :- Non-jealousy

4."Sauca" :-Cleanliness

5."anayasa":- Take things easy

6."mangala" :- Dignity and purity

7."Akarpanya":- Miserliness

8."Aspriha" :-without desire

IDENTITY OF THE PRESENCE OF MIND

The presence of mind in each individual can be identified by the presence of the following qualities in an individual in varying proportion.

1)Qualities of Sattwa Guna: intelligence, harmony, honesty, modesty, self-control, faith,love,truthfulness,contentment etc.....

2)Qualities of Rajas Guna : dutiful, power,passion, agitation, active, dominance,  prestige, attached to the senses,ego,desires etc...

3)Qualities of Tamas Guna: laziness, ignorance, close mindedness, lack of self awareness, fear, depression, dullness,anxiety etc....
