Poem - Never forget me, my Lord

In the depths of my soul, a chamber so pure,

A sanctuary where love doth endure,

I opened the door, and you did impart,

Your grace and mercy, a treasure to start.

Though my heart was not fit for your stay,

You chose to dwell, and chase the night away,

With every breath, you washed away,

The stain of evil, and made me anew each day.

In my heart, a mansion so grand,

You reside, my Lord, my Savior so bland,

With every beat, I feel your embrace,

And in your love, I find my place.

Never forget me, my Lord so true,

For in your mercy, I am anew,

In your love, I find my home,

And with you, my heart is made complete, my own.
