- Sowmya jwara (mild fever)With sheeta lakshanas: Powders of Guduchi-Pepper- ¼ tola each +1cup of water-boil reduced to ½ the quantity filtered and taken twice with little honey.
- Jwara with ushna lakshanas:Guduchi+Usheera ¼ tola + 1cup of water boiled and reduced to half its quantity and taken twice daily, don’t add honey, can add dry grapes while boiling for taste.
- In long standing fevers (ugra jwara)With Sheeta lakshanas:-Guduchi+ Rakta Chandana + PepperKashaya given twice daily with honey With
- Ushna lakshnas :-Guduchi+ Raktachandana+ Usheera Kashaya prepared and taken twice daily (dry grapes can be added.
- Guduchi in mother & child health:In fever during pregnancy a decoction of the guduchi stem is taken twice daily in empty stomach.
- In dyspepsia and joint pain a decoction of guduchi stem + ginger is given.
- A decoction of the stem of guduchi +grapes is useful in jaundice of children palpitation due to amlapitta - guduchyadi kashaya + drakshadi kashaya can be used.
