Agnikumararasam Gulika with its indication, Dosage and Ingredients
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Kapha.
Agnikumararasam Gulika dosage:
125 mg – 1 tablet once or twice a day after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
Agnikumararasam Gulika ingredients:
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 10 grams
Ugra – Acorus calamus – 10 grams
Kushta – Saussurea lappa – 10 grams
Musta – Cyperus rotundus – 10 grams
Visha – Vatsanabha – Aconitum ferox – 40 grams
Usage
In initial stages of fever with indigestion it is given along with honey and ginger juice.In fever due to kapha origin, it is given along with Nirgundi (Vitex negundo) juice extract.
In running nose, allergic rhinitis, it is given along with fresh ginger juice extract.
In Inflammatory conditions, it is given along with Dashamoola kashaya.
To treat indigestion, it is given along with clove.
In sprue, it is given with ginger.
In diarrhea, it is given with kashaya of Musta (Cyperus rotundus).
In early stages of diarrhea, it is given along with coriander and ginger liquid.
In chronic diarrhea or dysentery it is given along with decoction of Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica)
In chronic fever, it is given along with decoction of fresh ginger and long pepper.
in cough and cold, it is given along with decoction of kantakari (Solanum xanthocarpum)
In bronchitis and asthma, it is given along with sesame oil and jaggery.
