Water for decoction – 32 liters, boiled and reduced to 4 liters.
Kaushika – Guggulu – Indian bedelium (gum resin) – Commiphora mukul – 864 g
Erandataila – Castor oil – Ricinus communis – 192 ml
Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – 240 g
48 g fine powder of each of
Nikumbha – Baliospermum montanum
Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula
Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn.
