The plant has following features ....

र्वृद्धिश्च कन्दौ द्वौ..A plant with two tubers 

कन्दो लताजातः ..A small herb with tubers 

तूलग्रन्थिसमा ... A heavy tuber having Cyst like shape

वृद्धिस्तु दक्षिणावर्तफला ..Flowers and fruits towards one direction 

Habenaria foliosa

 Terrestrial endemic orchid 

  ( Habenaria foliosa ,Habenaria gibsonii , Habenaria digitata Lindl. var. gibsonii )

Endemic to Western ghats 

Tubers are cool ,sweet useful in fertility, bulk promoting, cough ,Shayakasa, shatakasa ,Vrshya 

वृद्धिर्गर्भप्रदा शीता बृंहणी मधुरा स्मृता |

वृष्या पित्तास्रशमनी क्षतकासक्षयापहा ||

 This beautiful plant found two years back on Nandanavanam ,Shoranur, near Vishnu Ayurveda college , we planted this in Ashtamgam oushadha udyanam and this year we're blessed to see flowers..
