📜 Sanskrit Poem :
हरीतकी त्रिदोषघ्नी लघुश्चाम्लानि संयुता।
दीपन्या रोचन्या श्रेष्ठा रसायन्यपि सिद्धिदा॥
वाती कफघ्नी मेध्या च नेत्र्योष्णा ग्रहनीजिता।
वृष्या दोषहरा नित्यं कृच्छ्रमेहविनाशिनी॥
कण्ठ्या हृद्येन्द्रियप्रिया मुखशुद्धिकरी शुभा।
विषघ्नी शूलनाशिन्यः कृमिनाशकरी परा॥
दीर्घायुषी च या प्रोक्ता देवैः सप्तफला शुभा।
हरीतकी नमस्तुभ्यं सर्वरोगविनाशिनि॥

वृष्या दोषहरा नित्यम् – aphrodisiac and daily purifier of doṣas,
कृच्छ्रमेह-विनाशिनी – removes urinary and diabetic conditions -
कण्ठ्या हृद्य-इन्द्रिय-प्रिया – supports voice, heart, and senses,
मुख-शुद्धि-करी शुभा – purifies the mouth and is auspicious -
विषघ्नी शूल-नाशिन्यः – antidote to poison and pain remover,
कृमिनाशकरी परा – excellent destroyer of intestinal worms -
दीर्घायुषी या प्रोक्ता – grants long life, as declared,
देवैः सप्तफला शुभा – sacred one praised as ‘Saptaphalā’ by the gods -

सर्वरोग-विनाशिनि – destroyer of all diseases
📖 Full English Sentence Translation:
Harītakī balances all three doṣas and is light with a slightly sour taste. It improves digestion, enhances appetite, and acts as a powerful rejuvenator that grants health and longevity. It pacifies vāta, reduces kapha, improves memory, benefits the eyes, and helps with digestive disorders. Harītakī is an aphrodisiac, purifies bodily systems daily, and cures urinary troubles and diabetes. It supports the voice, heart, and senses and purifies the mouth. This herb is an antidote to poisons, reduces pain, and destroys intestinal worms. It is said to grant a long life and is revered by the gods as the sacred ‘Saptaphalā.’ O Harītakī, salutations to you—the destroyer of all diseases.
