Kamadudha rasa

Kamadudha rasa, also known as Kamadudha ras, is an ayurvedic medicine used to treat conditions related to excessive heat in the body, such as acidity, heartburn, gastritis, and ulcers. It is made by combining powders of several natural ingredients, including conch shell (shankha bhasma), pearl (mukta bhasma), coral (pravala bhasma), and purified mercury and sulfur.

According to ayurvedic principles, Kamadudha rasa works by balancing the Pitta dosha, which is responsible for heat regulation in the body. It is believed to have a cooling effect on the digestive system, reducing inflammation and soothing irritated tissues.

However, it is important to note that Kamadudha rasa should only be taken under the supervision of a qualified ayurvedic practitioner, as it contains potentially toxic substances such as mercury and sulfur. If taken in excessive amounts or without proper guidance, it may lead to serious health complications.
