Shiva Gulika

Shiva Gulika is an ayurvedic medicine that is commonly used in the treatment of various health conditions such as fever, cold, cough, headache, and other respiratory problems. It is also known as Shiva Gutika or Mahashiva Gulika.

The main ingredients of Shiva Gulika include Shuddha Hingula (purified cinnabar), Pippali (long pepper), and Saindhava Lavana (rock salt). It also contains other herbs and minerals such as Vatsanabha (aconite), Vidanga (false black pepper), Tankana (borax), and Maricha (black pepper).

According to ayurvedic principles, Shiva Gulika is believed to balance the Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas and improve the digestive fire (Agni) in the body. It is also considered to have antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Shiva Gulika is generally taken in the form of tablets or powders, and the dosage and duration of the treatment depend on the individual's health condition and the severity of the symptoms. However, it is recommended to take this medicine under the supervision of a qualified ayurvedic practitioner to avoid any adverse effects.
