Plumbagin, biplumbagin, crystalline, sitosterol, daucosterol, lupeol, chloroplumgin, fructose, hydroxyproline, sucrose, glucose, isozeylinone,
4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, xanthyletin, steroids, flavonoids, polyphenols,(plumbagic, aspartic, vanillic & trans- cinnamic) acid and isoshinanolone.
⏩Medicinal uses abdominal pain, appetizer, dysentery, diarrhoea, cold, cough, bronchitis, rheumatism, joint pain, paralysis, laryngitis, osteoarthritis, liver tonic, prostate cancer, chronic menstrual disorders, wounds ,syphilis, skin disease, tuberculosis, wound healing, swelling, sinusitis, spleen enlargement, piles, leprosy and anti fertility.
